CA6 Grade 8 is the most popular crushed stone choice for sub-bases. Light grey color and great compatibility! CA6 designates that a majority of crushed stone is 3/4″ and smaller containing fines. Grade 8 designates that it is made from limestone. Locally sourced. Resists growth of weeds. *Please note that recently loads we have received are larger then normal(around 1 3/4 and smaller), however still meet certified compatibility testing. If there is any questions or concerns, please consider CA6 grade 9(fieldstone)
Common Uses: Pathways, Driveways, Sub-base, Paver base, Shoulder Stone and Road Gravel
Note: If planting perennials or trees touching gravel consider using CA6 Grade 9. Plants do not like lime!
