Soil Installation Service

If your interested in topping off your veggie garden boxes or beds but don’t wish to do it yourself, our quick pick Soil Installation service is a great option.  For a set cost per yard we will come with a truck full of soil, wheel barrows, shovels and a professional staff handling everything.  We can add an additional soil if your choosing by lifting plant leaves and spreading around the base. Don’t be surprised if the onsite foreman knocks on your door early evening or Saturday when your home as he likes to do a quick walk around once complete!  If you prefer to have it done while your at work, not a problem! We’ll take some quick notes at the time of order on places to be sure to include or exclude on install day. While installation is weather dependent in the spring, most of time time when our clients will pick a day, we stick to it.

Additional Services – Edging/Weeding

Weeding and edging can be done for an optional fee on mulching day. Please call to set up a full service and supply credit card before we come out. Weeding and edging is charged at $40(2023 rate) per man hour when complete. We are not responsible for hitting lines/pipes/etc that we cannot see. All public utilities should be well below the standard 3″-4″ bed edging if installed correctly. We do not edge new beds, we only maintain established beds.  We regularly see bad installs of invisible dog fencing wire, low voltage lighting, sprinkler systems and cable internet. If you have these pre-marked by the corresponding company, we can avoid them. If you do not pre-mark them, you assume all fixing costs involved. no exceptions. If we can’t see it, we don’t fix it.  Unfortunately most are avoidable problems if everyone did their job to code. Invisible dog fencing any low voltage landscape lighting is almost always within 1-4 inches below surface. Sprinklers should be 8″+ below but rarely are. These are items that JULIE cannot mark for. You must call your corresponding contractor and pay them to mark the service.

Please understand we try to do the best we job we can. We do not want to hit anything, but it happens. Whatever we cant see, we can hit within 3-4″ edge depth.

This service is meant to be a simple service for supplying, delivering, and installing soil & compost in or around a garden type box or bed. We will spread out our supplied soil. Minimum order is 4 cubic yards. Please call with any questions or to place an order.
